2012 -Paul and Lucy try curling!
We invited Paul and Lucy to try a bit of curling. Audrey and I were forced to play vice and skip which was an event in itself. We did manage to even win a game thanks to both Paul’s and Lucy’s excellent shots. One of the photos shows Lucy’s shot to the button. Some of the games were very close as you can see by the use of special measuring equipment.

AYDU 2007/01/26 – ‘Twas the night before departure….for Down Under
Many thanks to all family, friends, neighbours and co-workers. The past few weeks have been frantic, but you have all been very kind and supportive, (not to mention the generous gifts). Trees has settled in, and has even tried “winter” driving! Its 36C in Perth today, so we better get used to the heat quickly.
2006 – Departure Date Quickly Approaching
Within two months I will be teaching in Pinjarra. The weather in Barrie is around freezing with a slight dusting of snow on the ground. Weather is expected to warmer this week, so the snow may be gone shortly. I am hoping for a white christmas.
