We wifey and I decided to take a chance and head to the cottage just for the day. The weather was great and with a light winter we could drive right in. We were not sure that the road was going to be block by snow, but it turned out all right. The lake has some ice in the shaded shore areas. We watched the ice break up and float to our end of the lake. We had purchased a lunch on the way up and had it on the dock.
